The past.......

Asa Granander originally hails from Stockholm, Sweden. Her passion for skiing and her love of the mountains brought her to the alps in 1997. After a period of  living and working throughout the larger alpine resorts she decided to make the beautiful mountain village of Samoens her home. It was here that the idea behind Popcorn Vintage was born. Very much a "homegrown" idea, in 2011 Asa started out making beanies for her own two children. Basing her hats on a taditional scandanavian design and incorporating the bright and funky fabrics found in her native Sweden, "Asa's beanies" soon became a success with her friends and family.

The Present.....

Realising there was a growing demand for her products Asa decided to take the plunge and go into business for herself. She started by setting up a small workshop at home and selling on her stall at the local markets. Over the next coupe of years her business grew and grew. She slowly broadened her range of products and started to produce scarves, neck warmers and headbands to add to her now well established beanie range. In April 2015, she decided the time was right to take the next step so she acquired a lovely boutique space on the village square in the heart of Samoens. This has now become...
